How to copy ps2 games with a burner sites

What i would like to know is if there is a a particular type of DVD media i need to use when burning the backup? I didn't know if there was a name brand anyone has had better luck with. I don't know if its me or the actual DVD itself.

Swap magic or an actual modchip? It will load up and say "insert disc. When i hit X the insert disc screen freezes and there is a red or hot pink outline around the top and left corners of the screen.

The first few times I did the slide trick I could not get it to work. You have to follow the instructions on how to do the slide part carefully, and once you get it you will know exactly how to do it again. Kind of like a bike, you get the feel for it then you have it for life.

Because my understanding is that the PS2, like most consoles, has DRM to prevent copied games from running. There actually is a way you can run unofficial burned discs on the PS2 by exploiting a bug in the built-in DVD player, but it's not something you can just do with a direct copy; you'd have to specially set it up to exploit that bug.
